I was invited to speak at CodeStock 2009 to give my talk “Web UI Warfare: Web Forms vs. MVC”. CodeStock 2009 was a raging success, and I was thrilled to see old friends and make some new. I was able to see a few sessions myself including:
“ASP.NET Web Testing” by Jeff McWherter, which was an excellent talk covering a review of testing concepts and tools as well as specific techniques for testing on the ASP.NET platform. I know Jeff gives this talk semi-frequently so I’d recommend that you see it if you get the chance.
“jQuery 101” by Rod Paddock. Despite the fact that my jQuery tour is about to launch, yes, I wanted to see what Rod had to say, since he’s such a great speaker. Rod gives a great, fun talk with loads of examples that are usable immediately – this is definitely another talk I’d recommend that people see.
