I am happy to announce that I’m joining Microsoft on their Developer & Platform Evangelism team as a Developer Evangelist for the New York City metro area!

A Developer Evangelist is Microsoft’s representative to the developer community. Microsoft Developer, Architect, and Partner Evangelists are here to answer your questions, offer best practices, and to help and teach you how to most effectively use our products. Developer Evangelists are highly regarded professionals in their fields and are required to hold knowledge on the breadth of Microsoft products and technologies. Most developer evangelists do have a specialty and my specialty technology areas are enterprise development using the ASP.NET platform and SQL Server. However I'll also be focusing on WPF/Silverlight, Azure, WCF and ADO.NET Data Services.
As a Microsoft customer, developer, or IT professional I encourage you to contact me with questions regarding Microsoft products or just to connect. You can catch me speaking major conferences such as TechEd and DevConnections this year as well as some upcoming local events at MSDN Events. I’ll be posting my ongoing schedule of events on this site, and I plan to blog on more technical content, which is part of my job now as well (finally, if you've been waiting for something, hopefully not holding your breath so far!).
